I was woken up this afterneoon by four ridge tiles sliding down my roof!!! Sounded like the roof was coming in. Ones now smashed on my garage roof. I've been up to collect the other three before the rugrats come home. Bit scary up there. Two normal tiles also smashed as they came down the roof. Bugger.

Just had a call at work from Mrs Matt to say we have at least one fence panel down at home
Just hoping that next door's cat was under it at the time

Doubt it, they are much too clever for that. Cats I mean, not fence panels.

Damage to date----A roof panel from next door's conservatory, and a bit of their garden shed, part of the roof of my garage, and a tree in my garden.Bugger.
The upside is that I was going to replace the garage roof in the summer, and Mrs B wanted the offending tree down as she reckoned it was dying and rotten.Seems she was right about that.

I was waiting for those kind of jokes.
Tis bloody drafty i must say.
Went from 3rd lane @ 60mph to inside lane at about 35mph.
Scary stuff.
Makes wheelies difficult too.
(Not that i condone that kind of behaviour)

was funny...walked through the garden....mmmm...somethings not right?
I spent an hour the other night beefing up my fence panels as one of the trees in the garden was getting close to knocking it over, come home from work yesterday and the tree was at a 45 degree angle facing the opposite way to the fence panel i was worried about
Also 2 fence panels down

Had a miserable day at work, the M60 Barton high level bridge at the Trafford Centre was closed when two lorries fell over at the top! Road closures and irate motorists do not go well together. Honestly, you just can't tell some people! Plus, Kylie was playing in town but I doubt many people got there in time as half of Deansgate was shut plus numerous small roads leading to complete gridlock.
