View Full Version : favourite biking books?
Well, looks like winters finally here, so i'm snuggling in and re-reading some old faves, wondering if anyone had any recommendations. My favourites are Hunter Thompson's Hells Angels, Long way round, Jupiters Travels, and Sonny Bargers autobiog.
Anyone care to add to the list?

Regeneration is hardly a bike book though, is it?
Even if it is a superb book. :? They called it Passchendaele by Lyn Macdonald is superb also
but does not contain many references to GSXRs.

Hmmmm... I think a respondent or two didn't read/understand the question.
Anyhoo, some of the above and:
Desert Biking - Chris Scott
Whatever Happened to the British Motorcycle Industry? - Bert Hopwood
Plenty more, I'll think about it.
SVeeedy Gonzales

zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance - Robert Pirsig.
Hmmmm... I think a respondent or two didn't read/understand the question.
 My first post was a biking book and there was one biking book in my list
I've just ordered "One Good Run - The Legend of Burt Munro" off Amazon.
Motorcycle Diaries - just another bike book. Wouldnt rate it as a favourite as is a tough (non-flowing) read.

Tricky...I am surprised the section about suspension settings did not catch yer eye? After all such tremendous handling was displayed when George was filmed tackling no less than the IOM TT!
