Considering how wrong the Sv looks WITH lowers, no.

to be honest you don't need the ally spacer if you're not using lowers, you could just mount straight to the engine bolt could you not?
I've got these as well, defo worth it for lowers

IMHO the SV looks better with a bellypan. I don't like the look of the full lowers.

art- they are simple to fit mate..
just take out the standard long engine bolt- u might need a drift to knock it through with .. then put the new one in with the brackets attached- they are slightly different for each side .. but its quite obvious which oes where as one has a longer shoulder..
dont over tighten anything as they are not made of cheese but arent way way strong...
I think in fact I just dropped my lowers off for the 5 mins it took as they sit quite close to the lowers and I didnt want to lip and scratch anything...
they do look good- u can rest yer knees on them and of course they gonna save u some dosh if u have a low fall or drop her
oh yea- call your insurance and tell them u added the R&G's.. reduced my premium by £20 !!
dont chuck the standard engine bolt of course- keep it safe.

Thank you so much for the instructions Quiff (and the VERY helpful picture posted earlier!). Now if you could just translate the words 'engine bolt' and 'drift' into fluffy pink girlie language I might even be able to do it myself

Really appreciate the fitting instruction guidance Quiff and Razor - many thanks guys ... I'll let you know how I get on as I am determined to try and fit SOMETHING to the bike myself! (Every time I've tried so far a helpful strong male turns up and takes over!!) :smt021
