That's me booked in for the Friday and Saturday night. A bargain basement £9 for one tent with no power hookup. Luckily if the weathers bad the tents a 2 room affair so I can get in one side and the bike in the other. Looking forward to it already.

AFAIK the kitchen facilities at the campsite are taken up by the other group that are booked in on the same weekend as us.

Try giving the pub a ring, they might do breakfast for non-residents, especially if they know you're part of the same group as some of their guests.

Failing that, the burger van at Devil's Bridge does great bacon & egg sarnies!

I've been told there is a local shop either in this post or the how you getting to AR07 (or something like that), but may bring a bottle or two of plonk with me as I'm unsure at what time I'm going to arrive.

However I've managed to find a 1 man tent to borrow instead of my behemoth 3 manner with porch/garage, so more room for booze/camping chair and coolbox on the SV (or may be not..)

Actually El Saxo previously posted this:

"Tim, there's a very small shop & post office in the village of Austwick - i called in to try & get cash but as it turned out I couldn't.

Anyway, It sells various tins of food, a bit fo fresh stuff (small deli counter) and a few different beers / wines. Very much the typical 'local shop for local people'

Depending what time you get there, there's a good chance it'll be shut.

There's a supermarket up the A65 at Kirby Lonsdale though (unless anyone knows of a nearer one?), so i was planning to arrive, put up tent etc, then go for a quick blat to the supermarket with an empty tankbag & fit as much beer in as possible!!"

Competition, this will be a number of categories, some silly some not so, over the event each person will be able to fill in the form (user name on the top) and nominate people for each category.
.

will there be any information on the Competitions beforhand, or is it a surprise?

i see that the AR has turned into the AE, i was expecting just a rideout, but it looks as if its going to be so much more
