Lay back, relax and enjoy some sympathetic female attention I s'pose.

Cos oooh it's so much more owwww painful than you ahhhrgh could possibly owwww imagine for men ooooh.

Seriously, you have my sympathy as it sounds like you can't really get about much and 'enjoy' your sick time.

Er... you could catch up on your reading. Or if turning pages is too much and yet you still want to keep your brain occupied - stick to watching National Geographic and history channels. In two weeks you may just make it our before things start to reapeat again too much.

Have you got Oblivion for the 360? A good way to waste a scary amount of your life.

My advice would be to get yourself the best drugs you can. When I was off for 2 weeks with a trapped nerve in my neck, I spent most of it off my tits on cocodamol and morphine - it still hurt, I just didn't care

Seriously tough, I have got Long Way Round on DVD, and a few Ghostrider DVDs if you want a lendsie

He he... I would think more like:

"Excuse me sir, is this your vehicle...."
"What is the speed limit on this road sir ?"
"Do you know why we stopped you ?"
"Have you had a drink this evening sir ?"

All good practice

I mustn't mock, I have a back problem and when it plays up it's agony.... Warm baths are good (but not all day of course - the water gets cold).

To relieve the boredom, plan a European tour on the bike, design your own website, or monitor the "org" all day....

I've had something similar for a few weeks. Unfortunately I only got three days off work and some crap painkillers ("side effects may include heart attack and heart failure" - after a week I went back to the Drs and demanded different ones). I spent the time playing with my Wii!

Hmmm some interesting ideas, thanks for your replies...had a few chuckles.

I wouldnt mind planning a trip somewhere, start writing a book, playing my 360, reading a book, surf the net looking for new kit for my bike and putting on 2 stone eating cakes, chocolates and biscuits

I can get out and about but it hurts to drive (the pains go all the way down my right arm and into my fingers) at least i have got physio to look forward to.

I've got 5 weeks until I start new job.

So my list is as follows;

Paint entire house.
Replace all radiators in house.
New outside lights for house.
Finish the 12 books I got for Crimbo.
Start writing my novel.
Repair SV from crash last year, last few parts needed from ebay...

That should do it!

Oh, I'm only allowing myself .org time when I eat lunch, like now. So if you see me here all day tell me to get back to work. I hate wasting my own time...
