We had about an inch of snow as I was leaving home this morning. Did it stop me? Hell no!

As soon as I got back to the main road, it was fine, cars had been there before me.

Nike stayed at home today, seeing as I nearly dropped the thing just putting the side stand down. Not snow, just 1/2 black ice.

Mind you the main roads were OK, the snow on the way back made me glad to bein the cage though - coud hardly see at times...

Well it's here now

M4 clear though outside lane a bit dodgy travelling east from Chips to Newbury. A339 south into Newbury slushy, inside lane no traffic, we all had to queue behind, guess what? yup a BM fr*gg*in W crawling along. The attitude? I have a fast car so I use the outside lane even though I can't actually drive

Still all the white stuff looks so pretty doesn't it

That was yesterday. Today I'm not on the bike, and only virtually in the office (technology has it's downsides).

Why the change of heart? Not because it's dangerous to ride, but because it's bloody cold out

 I hate it when its too cold to ride too, actualy. After one cold ride, heated grips will be fitted in the summer in anticipation of the winter chill. I wont use the bike until it gets warmer.

Oh, I just looked on the met office website, winds will be back again (least in the kingston area) on saturday)...

What a bloody journey. Had to fly to Hannover and back for work. Yesterday got to the airport nice and early only to find the plane delayed. Optimistically they boarded us and we sat on the plane and waited three hours ( ) for it to be de-iced. Got there at 1am.

Coming back tonight - Birmingham in chaos, airport closed so had to make a quick decision to either stay in Hannover on Friday night (great fun) or grab a flight to Manchester. Chose to do that and hired a car to drive back home. Now my mate's got to take the hire car to Birmingham in the morning (if he can get there) to return the hire car and pick his car up.

At least I'm home and having a beer here with the mrs.
