Had an unfortunate incident this morning on the way to work. Saw a nasty accident involving a BMW K1200S (God they are heavy) We stopped as both me and my wife are trained first aiders and stayed with him till the paramedics turned up. Kept him still, warm, as comfy as possible and reassured etc. The guy was alright luckily. Just a bruising and a saw hip as far as we know. Funny actually, the guys vectra came off worse than his beemer :P . Makes me think though how many bikers or passers by for that matter would actually know how to tend to a fellow biker. One guy who stopped reccomended taking his helmet off!!! I could have shot the W***er!!!
Remember keep safe and drive to the conditions!!!
Glad the guy was ok sideshow, its certaintly not the weather to be a biker esp. today with so much snow.

Well, no ice/snow up here. I did not even have to defrost the car this morning. Temperature reading was 0.0°C unlike yesterdays -6.0°C effort
However, too damm cold to be riding. Yup still a fairweather one
I just want to say i great big thank you to bracknell Forest Council for NOT gritting the roads this morning and making the drive into work an "interesting" one

I'll second that Tara but just change it to Reading!!!! I actually saw a gritter stranded on the way to work :x Obviously sent it out too late. Don't know about anyone else but we had atleast 4 inches. My usual 25minute drive to work was 50 today. It was also quite funny watch all the executive BMW wan... I mean drivers tiptoeing to work, funny how a little slow makes them drive sensibly... :P
Woohoo, lots of snow!! Crawled along in the car to work today.
Nephew has the day off school so now I'm helping him make a snow/slush/ice pillar in front of his dad's car. :)

Guildfordians....Go careful on the Woodbridge Road into town from Ladymead, noticed today there's a huge oil trail going along most of the way.
We were up at 4.30 - 30mph to Stansted in the worst weather I have driven in. Waited around for a few hours till the flight was cancelled (Full refund for flights). Drove home and went back to bed at lunchtime... Bliss.
