Right, so we talked about this, but never got round to setting a date. February seems to be more or less up the spout, so I'm thinking, weekends of March the 17th or 24th might be best? Just a quick show of hands here if people are interested, and if they have a preferred date (or other date) please!

Food, drink, bowling, crazy golf, football things, climbing, other stuff, and a massive indoor ski slope with real snow :) It's ace, like a big playpark for grownups. It's the ski slope that raises it to genius, but it's still a good day out without it. It'll be ace 8)
ooh can i come please. either of those dates suit as both are after payday.

The later date is better for me, or any of the 2 weeks after. but not a definite yet.
jim@55: is this so you can show off your new camp-fire guitar skills? :)
I may take you up on that offer if you're sure its ok for all us Easties to crash on your couch
(how big is this couch you speak of? hehe)
camp-fire guitar skills?-aye right theres 2 couches in the living room and a huge back garden for tents if required ,but get your name in for a front row seat(in the living room in front of the fire)or pitch a tent in the hut next to your bike   but whatever ,just avoid this :driving: and do this :drink: guitar lessons ,,now theres a thought.....hmmmm.......

07-02-07, 11:49 PM
err.. you may want to give those lessons a miss, especially from me..
There's a reason I was trying to get rid of mine, and the problem realy wasn't with the guitar. It looks amazing hanging on the wall, until they ask me to play, anyone else, it sounds perfect.. me it sounds like a bat outta hell! tried getting lessons, that didn't help, never mind giving them!
I'll let you know closer to the time If I need to crash, thanks for the offer

Current voting is 100% for the 31st, so that's settled then! Thanks for adding the extra date Northy.
Having lolled on Jim's couch while Mrs Jim brought me tea and biscuits I can highly recommend the @55 front room but I think the community spirit will be better out in the garden camp. Oh, my tent is "two season" - anybody know what the hell that means?
Husky - how many kids you got? They're almost always late...
And On Yer is going to play Bat Out Of Hell! This is going to be great!

The people have spoken, 31st it is. Not an awful lot of people did the poll, mind... I'll start another thread to promote it properly, once I find out a tad more about pricing.

Can't do the 24th, Down in Gala
i can do 24th but then I voted for that
northwind
24-02-07, 01:51 PM
Right den, if the 24th would have brought more people I'd have said we should change it to then- we've not got a huge turnout after all- but it's not working out like that so let's call it 31st for solid shall we? I'll start another thread.
