Now the weather is finally with us, who's for a traditional selkent ride out then? Given that we were let down by the weather at the "End of Season" rideout. I think now would be a good time to recreate a traditional selkent rideout

I though it was part of the tradition for me to rush around bolting the bike back together in a "mis-handling" fashion to make it for this ?

Sorry won't be do that for a while.

Afraid I can't provide either 'scary can blast', 'getting felt up by a ginger bloke' or 'support vehicle' services this year.

But I could be talked into making a contribution to a tank of petrol and lunch in exchange for a ride

Well, if you're after something sedate, and not this Sunday (going to visit The Traitor in her new pad) then I'll happily give you a ride. But I suspect I'll be on your subs' bench. :D

If you guys don't mind a newbie joining in I'd be up for a spin (weather permitting of course).

i.e. newbie = new to my SV650s and not been out on a ride-out before.

Joe et al are nice people to ride with, ie, they wait for you to catch up!

Sure, no problem. Not all of us are as quick as Joe, et all.

I'll have a chat with the guys at selkent tonight, and see if we can come up with a route for the weekend.

I have, I just brought the sunshine!

It's just a long way/lot of hassle for me to get there and if it's raining then there isn't a lot of point.

God I need a garage.:(

Ok so the weather isn't looking superb but potentially it won't be raining. Is anyone up for at least a morning to noon ride? Just to get things off for the year.

Answer on here or email me direct on ksliwowski@gmail.com
