You can, but it's hundred's of £s and, TBH, is overkill for most people being at the high-end of professional software.

If you want a free bitmap/image editor try PhotoPlus from here (http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/)

Microsoft paint:

if you have Windows XP on your comp, then click start, go to All Programs, the go up to Accesories, then let the little side list open, and look on that list for Paint

Like I said, its not too bad...

There should be a little icon on the left hand side (where all the tools are) that is a free-form select? Its at the top left of the list, looks like a star?

Hovi5,

M$ Paint only works with .bmp files....... persevere with PhotoPlus - much more versatile but, as with any image editor, it takes a while if you've not used one before.

For what you want to do you need to open both images, convert the one with the face to a new layer, crop it, copy it and paste it as new layer on the other image.

Hehe

It reminds me of the tv show "The IT Crowd"

I wonder if that'll ever come back on?
