I have somehow found myself volunteering to take part in Run for all in Leeds in June, which is a 10k run round the city, along with a number of my work colleages. Our aim is to raise at least £3,000 for the new Yorkshire Cancer Centre which is located at St James' Hospital in the city.
Whilst I know 10k isn't the greatest distance in the world to some people, to those of us with an exercise regime that is nothing more than the occassional walk to the pub or the chippy, it's a long way!!!
I would be grateful if people would consider sponsoring us in raising money for this excellent cause; most of us will know someone who has had to face cancer and the anguish and distress this can cause. I myself lost my mum to cancer when I was 18.
Details of the Yorkshire Cancer Centre, and the event itself can be found on our fundraising website, where people can make their pledges.

All contributions gratefully accepted, no matter how big or small.
Many thanks one and all
