Howya Watty,

Good to have another Irish SV owner on board. Based in Kildare meself - have a '99 SV650 and a '04 SV1000. The 650 was me first bike and couldnt bear to part with her after putting so much time and effort into her...

Once you get that Scorpion can on the SV'll sound sweet!!

Take it handy....

its the way to go head!
svs were built to race, if you need any advice on what to do just ask!

the beauty of it is you can cover some costs selling the road going stuff too.

all you need is spare wheels 300e, race bodywork350e, front forks built 200e, shock 400to 800e air filter50e and a dynojet kit 100e. tyres are 300e a pair so 600e on top. ok so you need 3k at least but its the best ride you will ever have!:driving:

hey thanks but im down the south and theres only 3 companies that will insure us so they can pretty much ask for as much as they want and not a feck load we can do about it. so for the moment we have to abide by their rules, but not for long, some companies like adelaide are opening in a few weeks so there will finally be some competition!

mcireland open and direct insured me through a company in England called Equity Red Star surely a comnpany done there could find you the same company?

11-05-07, 06:59 AM
I'm not sure, I think you have to be living in England or Northern Ireland for a certain portion of the year to use their insurance companies. If there was a cheaper way to get insurance someone would have figured it out by now and every biker in Ireland would be using English companies. You live in the North yeah? I'm fairly sure theres completely different rules to what we have to put up with unfortunately
