The only bit of music I recognised was in one place they had some of the incidental music from one of the James Bond films I think it was from moonraker, which would make sense given the subject matter. Not sure thats the bit you are refering to though.

No I spotted the moonraker bit, its from something like 633 squadron or Battle of Britain

I didnt recognise anything else, sorry.

These guys might be able to help though. I found a site where they list all the music on each episode of TG when I was googling to try and find it

Haha they don't know either, I pretty sure its the Battle of Britain March (Main Theme) form (big suprise) the Battle of Britain.

I'm not suprised it took me so long to get it, Iv've only seen the film 50 odd times. (the most recent being yesterday)

D'jer know what? I've never seen the Battle Of Britain. Daft. Then, I've never seen the Godfather movies too. There you go...

Top Gear was ACE tonight. I think the Bond music was Space March (Capsule in Space)- I think it was actually from Thunderball or something like that.

I was so amazed by the rocket launching, and gutted when the Robin didn't seperate from the Solid Rocket Booster....

And Clarkson- I was most upset when he chainsawed the 1098. Having sat on one at the London Bike Show, I'm already in love with the bike!

Came back online abt an hour after the programme.
