Im looking for a 2nd hand (But good condition) seat cowl unit for a Blue SV650X 1999 if you have or know anyone who is selling one then please let me know.

Sorry, but I'm embarassed to admit I don't know how to post a link, I searched for sv650, about 370 items come up, its about halfway down page 2, with 7 days left, £14.99 at present, it says yc2, not k2, is that the colour?

If its a 99 it might not be candy grand blue but the jay blue...i could well be wrong though, however send him a pm as he's got one knocking about.

I think cuffy's right, is that the bike in your avatar Streetfighter? If so that looks like Jay blue, not grand candy blue (like mine in my avatar). Check your colour carefully.

This is listed on Ebay as Grand Candy Blue, as you can see it is the same colour as my bike (in my avatar)... Not sure whther it has been listed as the wrong colour?

Looks like Grand Candy blue, but it looks a darker blue than your avatar. Maybe a bad photo in your avatar? If you have the service and warrenty book, on the inside page (headed Product Identification) will be a sticker that gives the VIN and Engine numbers. Also included is the colour and code. Grand Candy blue is YC2.

But if you are happy they are the same, who am I to argue? :confused:

I will definately check the colour code before buying anything, the trouble is with photo's the colours look so similar it's hard to tell so I will confirm by looking in the book tonight. Thanks for making me aware...

Turns out you were right, the colour code of my bike is Candy Jay Blue although that cowl does look the same colour so maybe the seller made the same mistake as me??:confused:

If you see the bikes side by side, there is no mistake. I don't have a good photo of my bike to post up. Anyone else got a good piccy of a Grand Candy blue curvy to compare?

I've got a blue seat cowl going begging.

I'm a bit confused about the colour issue...

Mine's off a 2001 curvy (the one in my avatar) but I took it off because I didn't think the colour match was quite right. It came with the bike when I bought it, but I won't be using it, so it's your if you want it.

If you're interested let me know and I'll take a piccy of it for you tonight.
