This might not shock some, but it might be interesting non-the-less.
I'm sat here watching a pretty interesting programme about the proposed new Road Taxing policy.
There was a section that raised my eyebrow. Accident contributory factors:
5% over speed limit
17% under speed limit too fast for conditions
66% driver inattention, 23% of all accidents are contributed to a driver simply "not looking."Almost 5 times the accidents caused by breaking the speed limits, were people just NOT looking. That's those that actually admitted it. Frig me!
It was also interesting to hear that Cardiff would probably be a trial area for the Road Taxing. However, the Welsh Assembly don't really want to bother implimenting it across all of Wales, because there's no real congestion issues. Also, it's solely the Welsh Assembly that define where the road taxation is used.
Ace! It could work out that I don't have to pay it, at all, ever :D
