I have an Ohlins rear shock that fits the 1999-2002 SV 650: Ohlins part number SU 852, type 46HRCL. Here is a link to Ohlins for more info:
http://www.ohlins.com/Motorcycle/Hidden/Recommendationlist/tabid/110/Default.aspx (http://www.ohlins.com/Motorcycle/Hidden/Recommendationlist/tabid/110/Default.aspx)

All instructions and mounting hardware are included. This shock retails for $721. This is an incredible shock. It improved the handling on my SV many times over that of the stock shock. This shock is adjustable for ride height, spring preload, rebound and compression. The shock was installed for one season of track days last summer. The shock is in excellent condition.

I'm not really sure how the title of this thread got to be what it is, but I've asked a moderator and an admin to change it.

Bloody taxman! Takes a slice of everything! Good point though Lynw, did not realise how low the threshold was until your post prompted me to look into it. £18 limit before you are liable for import duty and VAT - plus a handling charge! The robbing so n sos charge you for the privilege of having your mail opened to be assessed for tax!

The limit is £145 for travellers, that has not gone up in 10 years.
