What, your planning a ride to Cheddar Gourge?

was closed Nov for 4 weeks IIRC

They close it at some point every year to destroy part of it. Don't know if its open as I wasn't planning to go down until next month, but if you go sooner I could be up for that.

However due to the layout and the weather I would suggest someone closer takes a look at the state of the road as it suffers from huge gravel traps in the middle of the road if its been raining alot...

So you really do plan it then  I thought it was a spur of the moment thing. Will it be a bush next time ;)

Ooops that sounds rude :silent:

It was open a couple weekends ago, think its open now. I went for a ride up there when it was closed, didn't get far due to rock fall i think it was!!

You fall into the spelling vs grammer trap. He's still busy planing his ride though

Spelling versus what now?

Anyway, there's nowt worse than a splintery ride.

please no more trips to the bushes SH...

Cheddar Gorge road is fantastic though but as said lots of loose gravel on the roads so be careful!

Wasn't Cheddar George one of the mice in The Beano?

He's probably planing his bike to try to make it more aerodynamic so that it can keep up with my Hornet :smt045
