I'm currently watching the World Superbike 2007 season preview on British Eurosport.

The shots of the Suzuki that Max Biaggi is riding apears to have 2 exhausts (SV1000 Style) although the road bikes I've seen only have 1 exhaust.

Obviously this must produce a power increase to justify the extra weight. Will the Rizla Suzuki boys also be running a 2 exhaust setup?

I agree. I don't really like the triangular exhausts either. If they were meant to be that way that's how God would have invented them!

Turns out that only 1 of the pipes is connected. They're only running the other pipe to convince potential customers to buy the 07 bike, especially with it doing so well.

Apparently its the same deal for the Yamaha bike to.

Yea, two exhausts for the 07 machine; I figured the bike was running only one exhaust since (on max's bike at least) unburnt fuel was burning through one exhaust only. Seems silly to have a dummy exhaust though, but thats marketing for you..

God i want twin exhausts on my 650....

The new thousands (k7 road bike)'s dual pipes are connected, there are two due to the new regulations on emissions, soon many other bikes (zx10, r1 etc) will have two pipes.

Not quite, They dont have a choice. WSB regulations state the the race bike must look like the road bike. Hence why it must two cans. ( Well according to the WSB Commentators at the weekend anyway )
