View Full Version : For Sale or possible swap
Having had the pleasure of getting a new job I am now resigned to a daily 70 miles commute and a naked SV on the journey is not fun anymore. Don't want to sell the bike but I need something with a fairing.:(
So I had a brain wave.
If I sell the bike, great however if someone wants to swap.....as long as you're not taking the p*** I'm willing to listen.
My SV is a 2000 (Y) model 'W' reg.
21,842miles
2 previous owners.
Excellent condition.
Fender Extender (obviously)
Now sporting road legal ART end can (original included)
FSH (last service done at 20,625miles)
Taxed til September 2007
MOT'd til May 2007
Wanting as much money as possible but will settle for £1600
If anyones interested just send me a PM.

considering the mileage and the year and that u commute on it- that bike is a credit to you.. ... . . . . . so so clean- nice..
Cheers Quiff.
It's only ever been my weekend plaything, and to be honest I don't want to use it commute because it's in such good condition. Was hoping for now to get my hands on a cheap Diversion or the like otherwise it'll spoil the SV.
Shame I can't have 2 bikes!
If only I hadnt have just put a GSXR front end on mine......:(

Hey Terry, I'll give ya a call soon (might have sold the bike)but for now to give you an idea I'm looking for a dependable, reliable faired bike. Anything from an early SV to a Diversion, GPZ, CBR or GSXF.
To be honest condition and reliability are most important as I'm going to be using it for work.:D
I got a diversion 600 that i bought about about 4 months ago with 5565 miles on the clock i bought it for commuting to work too........ but work has dried up. Besides that, it doesnt really "float my boat". New front tyre Newish rear tyre Alarm washed now and again got a carrier on it starts stops commutes well pretty economical see what you think

Hey Terry,
Thanks loads for the offer but I'm sorry to say the bike is now sold and in the hands of a very excited 22year old lass.
Got my eye on a Thundercat and still intend to hang around and haunt the forum.
