Had an accident today-weather has been pretty bad but was ok this morning although roads were wet, planned to out for a run today-rode out my drive way and got ten yards along the road and back end kicked out and down I went-crash bungs were doing there job and bike would have been ok apart from scrape to lower fairing ,but i slid into the step on the back on a transco van parked on the pavement-front end took the impact, everything is fecked-
All plastics
Headlights
Parking light
Clock surround
Lower fairings scraped to hell
Wiring harness sheared?!
And of course the brake pedal
feel gutted- dented pride -body bit sore but ok-seems to be diesel on the road-nice rainbow effect that I didn't see!
Glad the mrs walked away from the window just before i went down-would have been the icing on the cake if she had went into labour early.
Need to start the rebuild.

Glad your not too worse for wear mate, and the bike can be fixed. Another plus is that it wasnt far from home!
Chin up,
Matt
Ouch, that aint nice at all.
At least you're OK, and the Mrs didn't have a heart attack. The bike can be repaired.
I think I forsee the conversation of "are you sure you should be riding when we have a new baby?" but I could be wrong there.

Bad luck, diesel is bad stuff. I'll get in trouble for suggesting this but you need someone to claim off & it combines 2 of my pet hates :
1) the Transco van is illegally parked on the pavement, could you try to claim off them ?
2) is the Transco van responsible for the diesel slick ? If so claim !

Bad luck that and glad you are fine.
There is a clock surround for sale in the "for sale" section.

Hi Kwak-yep the cans had a bit of a doing, don't know if it will repair-got a place that sells all the exhaust components individually so maybe it'll fix if not i'm gonna stick another on the bike till I can make up something a wee bit different(watch this space!).
