Hi All.
My Insurance is up for renewal. I am currently insured with Red Star through Devitts. The renewal premium is about £180. eBike are offering me the same level of cover for £144 on my SV650S K3 with a few mods.
Would I have any problems with eBike on the claims side? Which would you go with?
Thanks
Tim
Is it worth ringing Devitts and saying you've been offered the same cover for £144 and would they like to match it?
Personally, I've had experience of claiming with Red Star and haven't had any problems so if it was me, I would probably see if they could price match.
Been with ebike for 2 yrs now. Last years premium was £94 fully comp. This year premium was £122 (which by coincidence I paid this morning) and that was adding my 2001 Piaggio get me to work 2001 scooter ! Both insured Fully Comp for that. So 2 bikes for £122 !!
What heps me is the fact that I'm an old git and keep my bikes in an alarmed garage - can't wait to be 120 !! Cant comment on how good their claims service is though - thank the lord !

getting a refund from e-bike and or cancelling your policy was ********, took over a month. apart from that, they were very helpful.
