Well my better half lives in Milton Keynes and over the last few weeks of riding round there I've tallied up about 13 motorbikes and 12 scooters, only 1 of them nodded back when I nodded/waved and it turns out he was actually a London biker up for the Ski Slopes in XScape.

So is it just me or are bikers in MK a bunch of miserable buggers =p

Wouldn't you be miserable if you lived in Milton Keynes? ;)

Seriously though, I dunno, don't think I've ridden there yet. A mate is moving there shortly, so ask me again in 6 months time. :)

If you see a bird on a silver/black gpz wearing cargo pants and Dainese jacket i told her to give you a nod

I've just moved in to London/Harrow and I've given up nodding to anyone now, lots of bikes and hardly any nod back so I don't bother. Maybe I should move to MK...

:nomore: :why:

I must have a different attitude to time on the bike. I nod at everyone & everything. As I put in a different thread, anything with 2 wheels & all emergency service vehicles.

I never expect a nod back, and if I don't get one, I generally have a chuckle to myself, because I assume they're being grumpy sods.

By not nodding, you're removing the ability to have a laugh whilst you're out on the bike.

Someone will come along soon and say its because of the intense concentration required to ride in MK, a bit like the hardened London biker ;)

It's because of all the roundabouts in Milton Keynes...

... they require intense concentration.
