you know I got a new sticker for my scorpion can and made it look like new for free..
went for a 250 mile rideout today with the stafforshire bikers ,
and when I got back.. look>>>

did you warm the scorpion sticker before fitting it? is it the thick rubber type?

yea thick rubber mate.. there were no instructions..

i just thought applying to a warm can would make it stick better like when you put a tank pad on they tell you to warm the tank with a hair dryer, thats what we did anyway and cuz's is still where i put it.

I know you wanted to keep your bike destickered, but this is a bit OTT. ;)
Wouldn't the glue melt again when the can heats up and cause it to fly off? Maybe not.

ha ha richie!
just been posting my pics on the staffordshire site..
and saw a pic before we left southport of my bke and the sticke ris on there.
so it lasted 120 miles at least !

If its for sticking to a hot exhaust, the glue should be a thermoset adhesive? I.e. once set, it dosnt re-melt and peel away?
