The court heard Askew did not have a full driving licenceAnd so no insurance I take it? I hate stories like this. Can you imagine her stopping if she were involved in an accident?

In mitigation, Catherine Richards said Askew had "been driving on and off for many years without incident."
Without a licence.
Superb defence. That's akin to saying, "Yes your honour, I've committed many murders over the years, but in my defence, I've never run into legal problems as a result of it before."
