View Full Version : Junk you carry with you...

I've just spent 5 minutes at work alleviating my boredom by looking through my jacket pockets.
Apart from the usual things one would have, and like a cheap version of the Generation Game, I was surprised to find the following lurking in various pockets:
3 elastic bands
a selection of plasters
a biro
insurance details (from 3 years ago!)
4 keys, to 4 padlocks I no longer have
57p in small denominations
2 mobile phone numbers (neither currently connected- damn!)
and, what looks to be the remains of a petrified scotch egg…
No cuddly toy then!
Does anyone else carry about useless stuff intentionally or unintentionally?

Are you sure you don't need a handbag for all that!
I try and keep the barest minimum in my pockets- which is probably why I've got a flat full of junk instead! And just don't mention paperwork.... !
Does buying a second hand jacket and finding a snotty hanky count?
 i found 20p in the waterproof textiles i bought off spankyham........ shhhhhhh
Old petrol receipts and spare ear plugs...
Apart from cash card, cash, keys and phone. Oh and a lipsil.
:rave: Party in my pockets! :p

I took it for a quick blast through peak hour London traffic strapped to my mirrors...

Hehe, thanks Sarah. My notebook goes everywhere with me, but it is usually afforded a place in my backpack. Today I have made notes on:
Tasks to do at home tonight
People to call about my weekend
People to call about social things next week
Things I need to buy (Chain lube, Olive oil, Green tea and stamps)
I am so sad.

My jacket has a hole on the pocket lining... most stuff (usually keys) I can't find turns up in the lining somewhere!
