DONT DO IT
i wish i haddnt, fair enough the handset i chose is 1/2 the problem, and there tariffs are cheep and good value, but the signal by me is useles unless im outside. i get no signal in my house or at work.
and therecall centres are in India and they can speak english BUT nothing that is outside of the standard script, so you might aswell bang your head against the wall.
go with vodafone

It's very cheap for a reason. My LG phone was totally crap and broke loads, and the network coverage is terrible. It can use standard networks as backup, but was trying to always use 3 even when it had one bar or less. AVOID.

Slight de-rail but the "nothing outside the script" is the reason my employers closed down the UK call center and went to India, they just want you to be fed the company line no deviation or thought involved.
DONT DO IT

Especially not the pay & go tarrif. Network cover was appaling for 3G signal, pay & go call charges are just basically the same style as a 'contract' contract except you have to pay for the phone and your unused credit runs out after 30 days!!! DONT DO IT
THERES no reception in abertridwr..............ill tell you that for free
