I'm availible any weekday within the first 2 weeks of april, but will need to find some new tyres as it was pointed out that they were on the edge of legality when I got it serviced last week.

It's weekends for me until the clocks change, then up for weekday nights as well. :riding:

I had the choice, work at weekends, or sell the bike, I think I chose the right option.. then again if you do take Stuarts route, I am dying for an excuse to go up perth way again. This time I even might make it back, or even better, make the extra 4 miles north of last time ;)

Without giving you my life story, April is pretty good any time (but preferably later) and May is mostly a disaster.

Route-wise in broad strokes I fancy the Borders coz I missed that last year and it's less familiar than the A82/83 type stuff.

It's kind of traditional that we do Moffat first "proper" ride of the year... And that I don't go :) But, apart from the weekend with the trackday and the planend Exscape trip and all, I reckon I can do pretty much any weekend... Eh, not the 25th of March though.

I like the Moffat run, twisty way down, fast way back... But I also like the sound of that road Stuartyboy found, and it's sort of the gateway to all good northern roads really :)

Just post date and I'll let you know. Not sure whats happening with my side - think I'm selling the SV and getting an ER6. Been analysing ride postions and the er6 if more back friendly for me than the SV. So I maybe totally skint and not doing anything.
More important - organise the Easter Egg run - its only 4 weekends away and we'll need that to see who's coming!

Thinking of an f or an n Quedos? I'm trying to divert Mrs Tiger away from a CBR600RR...

Tried a naked SV? You can stick high bars on an SV dead easily, tad cheaper than buying a new one :) THough I've got a soft spot for the ER6 as well...

I'll give you a tenner for Clunk :D

I only find out the night before if I can get a weekend day off, so I might be able to come, but we're gonna be quite busy over easter, so will post if I can make it once the dates are sorted out

abby - ill let you have a seat on the raptor in the summer, its a great riding position, and I can get both feet on the ground. unheard of on the sv. plus its a twin and a 1000cc engine woohoo

didnt you sit on a raptor at annual run. cronos did and his knees were up round his ears. almost as funny as watching him get out of that teeny tent in the morning - so I heard lol

I avoided that particular mocking :) Watching him get into the tent, in the dark, was even better though. Next year we're all staying at Grant's, he had space for everyone.

Can't do either I'm afraid. Charity white water rafting the first weekend and away on a stag do the second.
