I fitted my new (well to me anyway, it was a bargain in the local rag) can this affie. It's a carbon fiber Carbon Can Co thing. Previously it was the stock can with some Rictus spacers/washers on the bolts to introduce a bit of a controlled leak.
First off, I've still got a panel missing as it's somewhere in the garage (unless I put it out with the plastic bottles for recycling) but the bike's perfectly rideable. The infill panel is a whopping £49 from Triumph:

Bike was really mingin after all the recent rain:

Old can off:

I was surprised at how hard it was to get the old can off. The bolts had rusted, I couldn't get a torque wrench with a hex bolt thingy onto them cos the pipe, the swingarm and the hugger are all too close. Inside, can was badly corroded:

Look no can:

So with the can off I cleaned it up a bit. Not Kwak kwality but good enough for now. Side by side, you can see the old can's war wounds from when I dropped the bike last December:

The original bracket was a cheap piece of mild steel, bloke I bought the can off is a toolmaker so he made his own from stainless. It's got a bit of a pattern etched into it, looks nice:

Seeing it's pretty well straight through it's not quite as noisy as I thought it would be. More of a throaty burble at idle, but at speed it howls like a banshee:D :D :D For now I've left the baffle in but that's for review soon. Will take the bike over to Wylies to get them to tinker with it to get it set up right, that bit's beyond me.
I'm a mechanical numpty but I was surprised at how simple it is to swop the cans over. I didn't have any screws left over and it didn't drop off on the road test:p :p :p
