View Full Version : SK3 - MOT Passed with notes
All is well, my baby passed with the following advisories.
Noted small movement in swingarm, suspect manufacturing. Not serious :o
Noted, small runout on front disc, not discernable during travel/ manoeuvring. :o
Well that was end of August since being in the seat and I can honsestly say, Saturday morning I haven't had that big a grin on my fizzer for ages.
The sound was just great, even with just a stock can.
So try and get tax and tyres this week and it's back on :D .
Going to try and prevent a lay up like that ever again. It's bad for the soul!
Cheers All.

Where did you get yer MOT done Cam?
Got it done at Vic Devines.
Was referred there by Tony from West Coast Suzuki.
Was having a look at the CBR600RR in the show room, that is one evil looking bike!
It's so fecking small too.

Tony the service centre head honco? Does that mean West Coast don't do MoTs then?
When I was speaking to him, they were applying for Test Centre certification, as the garage next door they used is closed. Aparently they would do any work and the garage would do the test.
So hopefully that situation will be sorted out soon.
Victor Devines were fine though. Quick and professional. All you want really for an MOT.
Cheers
Hydepark Street, just off the clydeside expressway as you head west.
Kingston Bridge end.

......if the "garage" next door is closed, does that mean no more Kawasaki/Aprilia dealership also?
The place next door did ALL servicing including Suzukis. So they are left with a shiny showroom and no service area?
Had been enjoying the B-road boogie down there for MOTs and any probs. Liked their work and attitude and HONEST part prices.

:)
Yeah, that was the story I got.
West Coast Suzuki, can do any servicing but don't have MOT centre certification.
The garage next door used to do the MOT's (West Coast Riders??) not sure, is closed.
Not sure if that means West Coast Riders entirely? Not familiar with either place.
Got 6k on the clock at the moment, I plan to try West Coast Suzuki for the 7k service.
Cheers
Thanks for the directions Cam.
