Bought a pair of Osram Silverstar bulbs (H4 fitting) for my K3 pointy from Power Bulbs.
£15.95 incl p&p. Ordered Monday. Arrived Wednesday. Great price and service.
Also got a pair of Philips Blue Vision W5W side lights for free. My question is, are they legal, being blue and forward facing? I thought anything resembling the Police was illegal.
Thanks for your comments in advance.
They're fine. When lit they are only the vaguest hint of blue, basically white really.
At the front you can show any colour except red, and apart from indicators only steady light.
At the rear you can have only red, except for indicators.
(that's the essence anyway)

Blue bulbs are OK. See here (http://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/information/InfoCentre/ItemDetails.aspx?sid=209)
I know the headlight bulbs definitely are, not sure about the sidelights but I reckon the are. They should be 'E' marked for road use.

I've got them, and they're mainly white... just a hint of blue. Much better than the yellow glow of the standard ones.

blue bulbs are illegal on the front end if they are the sidelights or main lights.
white bulbs which give a blue tint are legal if they are E marked to meet light output regulations.
