I'm surprised there's no budget thread, always good for a bit of shouting.
My initial impression is that the changes to income tax, lowering the basic rate from 22p to 20p but scrapping the lower rate seem regressive. If you are on £7K a year you're worse off by £200, but if you're on £37K you up £400 (quick guess , figures not checked)
