This happens to me regularly on my ride home from work, for 5 miles its a narrow single carriageway B road with loads of lovely bends - its where I thin out my chicken strips - I look forward to it all the way home :smt077 .
BUT, where I can do 40-55, cars can only do 30-40, but I can't get past safely, so if I get behind any I have to sit there upright squaring off my tires at 30 mph:smt076 , then when it straightens out in a 30mph residential zone they all zoom off at 40 plus, it really winds me up :smt013

You mean speed camera detectors? Nope
Might get away with an accident blackspot warning system though

Actually radar and laser detectors ARE legal, but jammers aren't:
"It was perceived for some time that the use of radar detectors was illegal under the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1949, but this was ruled incorrect on 29 January 1998, after which it became clear that radar detectors were legal in England. i was going to say the exact same thing!
lol
I'm afraid its a fact of life here, some drivers just will not go any faster. It pi$$es me off when I'm in the car but thats an(other) advantage of the bike.
Either way overtake if it's safe to do so regardless of the vehicle that you are in/on. It does get my goat a tad when a bike won't overtake if they are in your group with a fast machine however it's all down to learning to ride I guess. In a nut shell, knock it down a few gears and throttle up and the job is done.
And has been said already, relax...
