When you look at it, what’s the point? We are born, we live for a few years, we breed (or at least that is the idea :lol:) we live a few more, then we die … so what??!?! :shock:

If ‘life’ didn’t exist, what does it matter?

p.s. this is a philosophical discussion, not a sign I want to jump off a bridge :D ... its just something that I keep arriving at when people go on about disasters, global warming, war, disease and famine etc ... We will die out eventually. This is just mankinds moment in the sun. The dinosaurs had their day, but in the end their time passed. Compared to them we've only been around for a very short while, but something will get us all sooner or later and then ****roaches will rule the earth:D

The point of life is to make something of it...:smt025 And therein lies the level of importance...the greater the importance the more relevance your life will have. But the less importance you attach...well...why bother weighing the anchor? :smt111

if a pebble drops into a pond does it matter???... the ripples of the splash will happen due to that event...

so a tree falling may not make a sound to peoples ears thousand of miles away however, the effect of that tree falling will have the same ripple effect, as it will have started a chain of events ;)

Life... Its all that cosmic energy, innit? Given the right conditions life'll spring up no matter what its shape or form. 'Why' is a pointless question because although we can each individually come up with our own theories, we'll probably never actually know. :lol: Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to sit in my little pyramid to absorb more cosmic energy... yeah man... *lights up and hovers off* ;)
