I was thinking of taking advantage of the nice long Easter weekend and go out for a bimble. Probably head to the coast if the weather is nice, maybe Hayling Island. I know a nice little pub overlooking the bay or we could sit on the beach and eat some great fish and chips. Who's in? Weather permitting of course. Me and Spider did the route a few weeks back and it was pretty good I thought.
It won't be a silly start time (like 8am!!) but say about 10:30ish to arrive in time for some lunch. The Ely will be the meeting point.
If not I'll strill go on me own as I love that route.
I don't really mind which day over the easter holidays we do.

What route do you take exactly, roads etc.?
Erm, well you head towards Alton but go stright over under the railway bridge towards Petersfield and then you end up on some nice twisty bits. You doa little bit on the A3 and eventually you will end up in Hayling Island.
In short I don't know the road names but I know how to get there. I guess I could always look it up!:rolleyes:

Erm okay, this may or may not be happening now. Need to go to Newcastle on Friday/Saturday to pick something up so it all depends how that goes. Will let you all know by Saturday afternoon when I get back.

Unfortunately the last one never even got ridden much. I bought it then got made redundant the same week, then a friend of a friend wanted it so was a very quick sale. Luckily I managed to get a job sharpish so still had the money for this Zed. I have wanted this bike ever since it's release in 2003 and now it's mine, alll mine I tell you! Will probably be keeping the Hornet too for commuting.

I've just gotten back from the Ace, it was Mopar Muscle car meet. So cool, I love a nice big engine! I'm now saving for a Dodge Charger R/T in black.

We'll set out on our journey of discovery (some call it getting lost) at about 10:30 from the Ely on the A30. Will probably do the same route that me and Spider did a few weeks back, means the last few miles on the A3 but it get's us there. Might try to get back through Chichester though. Should be fun.

Guys, why dont you head over to Reading, well out Caversham up the Sonning Common road B481 to the Rugby club, its the MAG one day bike show from 11am, for £1 entry.

Oh dear. It seems I have rather overbooked myself and am now in trouble with the boss. Looks like I may have to cancel this one I'm afraid guys, I'm on the bike Friday, Saturday and Monday so I guess I should spend some time with the wife.:roll:
