hi all.

newbie here.

i am just about to fighter my sv its the faired one.

so i will be picking your brains.

will i have any problems when it comes to removing the fairing and going naked?

if so what will they be?

it is a 51 plate. (half fairing)

are you asking about stripping it down to make it a naked sv?

oh and welcome to the ORG glad to have you here is it the first generaton or the second generation i have the second and am more knowledgeable about it.

Welcome to the madhouse, hope you enjoy the stay.

Removing the fairing is pretty simple but your going to have the half fired clipons, clocks and headlights still. Your going to have to change them if you want the proper streetfighter look.

Personnally I would leave it curvy but thats my opinion.

Wouldnt it have been easier to start from a naked SV? :oops:

Advice

1. Dont listen to Hovis, He is nuts :D Sorry pal
2. The Megathread is a cool place to hang out
3. Keep the bike curvy and yellow (they are the fastest)
4. Book yourself on the AR07

Hi Karl, I found a much easier way to mod my SV. In fact it was so modded that it wasn't very recognisable as a SV but I wouldn't recommend it, :crutches: was the result:(

Lots of Triumph riders on here, me included:D

Hello and welcome but be careful, you can get some duff info here... clearly I can appreciate why you would want to mod your curvy, but this is the only proper mod that is sensible to do...

paint it RED and make it POINTY! 8) :D
