I love riding my sv in this warm weather i ride all year long but it is just such a great feeling having a warm day not hot but just right to go ridding and taken a passenger along for the fun of it and hitting the back roads you can't beat feeling i didn't want to come back. I know you guys feel the same way but i just had to state the obvious.

Indeed, however you do have one advantage on us, jump on the bike (well used to) and just ride, no matter which direction, within 8 hours I'll hit the sea and have to head back, I guess one of the very few regrets I have is not riding across a great land mass, still not to later I hope maybe one day who knows.

Cheers Mark.

I guess you could always just ride round and round the coast! I mean - it seems to be entertaining enough on the Isle of Man.;)

I'll second that  I love riding my SV in any weather, but when its warm, and I can feel my hands, and I dont have to wory about maria getting cold on the back, everything just seems perfect. Hopefully sunday will be a good day, I'm off to brighton  :D

In my case, if I ride one direction, I'm swimming in under 10mins. Another direction, half an hour. Pick another direction, 45mins.

I have to be pretty careful which way I ride just to stay on dry land  but when the summer time is here, man do I love living by the sea :D

I know what you mean. Yesterday was a blissfill day. I was outside with my hoe (doing some gardening) lastnight listening to the crys of the IL4s calling in the distance. It's usually very quiet out my way but the call of the road was strong last night. Roll on summer!

Tis a joy when it's nice. Was bloody freezing at half seven again this morning- but lovely and warm at half four- I really enjoyed the ride home. Once my internal clock sync's with the clocks going forwrd and starting work an hour earlier as well, it'll be sweeet!!

Hopefully Sunday will be good- but I'm also waiting to hear from a friend about popping to Boxhill tonight for a quick jaunt- cuppa and chips from Rykers. Nice!

Thick fog in S'bury this am so had to be v v careful, but I was a bit late and filtered for England fog notwithstanding. Fog then cleared, turned into a nice sunny day and I was stuck at work, by the time I left it was drizzling and very slippy so no heroics for me.

Ha! Gorgeous on the twisties - and went to Downderry & Seaton for a 'Me and my Magnum' moment whilst watching the surf gently lap at the edge of the beach upon which were children digging holes, mums taking charge and dad's ignoring everything pretending to be deaf.(or asleep). Great. I love this job at this time of year.

And the bike.

Oh and the missus too.

Kids are alright I s'pose!! :D

We nearly bought a house in Downderry. It was a big semi just off the beach, with a whacking great conservatory. But then I found out I had to move job to Wolverhampton so it never happened.

Hmm - Wolverhampton and Downderry....bit like Chips or Daddy!!:D ;)

There's some nice houses there - good little boozer too - there's even a bus service!! It's one of my favourite 'somewhere to escape to' places.
