I recently got a pair of these boots and i must say they are very comfy they fit spot on and with the calf adjustmant to fine tune the fitting the are spot on, very light, and have no issues with gear changing or when taking the bike low to the floor, good grip Great boot 100% recomendation

Got to agree. I work in a bike shop and am too lazy to change my footwear, so I wear them all day without any problems. The only problem I've found with them is that they soak up rain like a sponge. Just bought some Sidi B-2 Gore Tex and they're just as comfortable.

Mine are great when I'm riding the bike but I find them uncomfortable for walking around in particularly round the ankle and they squeak like mad which is a tad annoying.

I have a pair of these aswell and find them to be brilliant.
One thing though, the other day I lost a screw from the toe slider. Just need to source one now.......................

I think that I've got narrow feet, that's why I find them comfortable, but they do squeak a bit. Stops me sneaking up on people ;-)

I need boots soon.

I'm leaning towards the gore-tex version of these.

My first pair of boots, done lots of mileage with them and love them to bits..

The only thing against them is as above. The squeak drove me crazy I've bought a different pair this time but that's not to detract from these.

Safe to say you will NEVER be a :smt027 with a pair of Sidi's on

Mine are wearing out and could do with a resole. Anyone know where I can get this done?

I have got the vertigo corsa'a and find them fantastic. They were recommended by my next door neighbour (name drop) Michael Rutter. He falls off a hell of a lot, and wears these to do so in... so I trust his opinion lol

This is starting to get desperate. I don't really want to spend £160 - £170 on a new pair unless I really have to. I've actually just bought a pair of German para boots (new padded style) - not specifically for bike use -and I'm going to give them a try but my guess is that other deficiencies aside the sole will be too thick to feel the gear and brake levers.

I'd like to know about new soles for these aswell.
The rubber is really soft so i wear them out on the lunch run every day on foot :(

Am going to get some Vertigos now as have just busted the zip on my 4 year old SMX3s.
I spray Mr Sheen / Pledge on my boots which seems to stop the squeaks beautifully for a few weeks :-)

considering these myself, i tried on a nine and found them to be "claustraphobic" in the toe area, the ten was ok, however i normally wear an 8.5. are they supposed to be really tight(not touching the end, just no room to wiggle toes) in the toe area or are they super small fitting?

I had to get half a size over what i usually go for in shoes/trainers.

Got my new Vertigos yesterday from GirlsBike2 in Dorking. I also went for a 1/2 size larger than normal. After the first 5 mins of riding I didn't think about them at all and am thrilled:-)

Vertigos are great boots for girls too - nice and neat, and the calf adjustment is great. Had mine for a couple of years and they have been well tested in racing offs. The red side vents have been ripped off but the boots have saved my ankles many times. Deffo a good boot and well worth the money.

BTW i have a pair of size 7 Oxtar TCS boots for sale.

SNAP (lol)

I went to timpsons (shoe repairer) and bought a zip pull fixer.
its usa made £5 for 2, but a lot cheaper than a new boot!

These are the kiddies (http://www.thebandroom.biz/01_item_action.php?id=853)

Injury ian my cure was a bit cheaper, a medium size paper clip great job lol

yeah, i did that for a bit, but the clip ended up being a straight bit of wire!

The worst bit was the tag snapped when I'd just zipped it up.. being they are locking zips, I was imagining that the rest of my entire life would be one with a sidi boot attached to my right foot!

Had a pair of Sidi black rains before the new Vertigos i bought last week, and i must say the new ones are much more comfortable both on and off the bike :)
