Just checked my online accounts. I have been rather overzealous in my credit card repayments, leaving me with little more than 1 weeks fuel money to last 3 weeks.

In this three weeks I will also need to feed and water myself.

I made the smart move to cut up all my credit cards last week.

As long as you don't mind a few unknown people coming up to you in 20 years and saying "Hi Dad", sell some bodily fluids. I think you get about £10 each "shot". You're a young lad - you should be able to make £30 a day no probs! :D

Each month I have a large graduate loan, bike repayment and London rent to cover, along with other ancillaries like phone bill, gym membership etc etc…

…my bank will laugh at me and then spit in my face if I ask for an overdraft.

My Mother is a gnarled recluse who lives in the wilds of Scotland (probably an SV Ecosse member then), she has no reception unless she treks 40 miles to the nearest town, so I can’t ask her- she’d probably pay me in sheep anyway.

I think I will cadge off of my friends, maybe do a whip round on the bike. Hey! A ride and some funds! Being poor is so depressing.

Sheesh- I've been going through this the last few months- though bike insurance will be done this month and times'll get easier agin. Plus the £110 bank charges received the other month - didn't help the situation either....

You could always let your beard grow and wander round town with your lid and stinking of beer asking for some money as you've run out of petrol (used to work for the winos around Kingston! Doesn't really happen any more... I got a job!!)

I am telling you now, you can get a hell of a lot more than £10 per 'deposit'.
A while back some friends and myself registered a mate for a laugh, with a company we found on the net. Assuming you pass all the screening processes its pretty lucrative:) . I cant remember the exact figure but it was something like £300.....i **** you not!

Needless to say he was somewhat surprised when he got an appointment letter for a medical, but was actually quite interested. His g/f of the time was not having any of it though.

As a bonus it is also collected by motorcycle courier so you get to make a new friend:rolleyes:

Apply for yet another Credit Card - stick with me it isn't as stoopid as it sounds.

There are loads fo 0% deals on Balance Transfers. MBNA even allow you to do BTs to your bank account and not count it as a cash advance - that way you can get yourself a couple of hundred sov's for a few weeks. Then next month do a couple of BTs from your existing cards - this then delays the repayments next month.

Then learn the lesson - Credit Cards are evil.

You will have to google....thats how we found it a while back. It was some fancy private fertility clinic....prospective parents get to chose donors hair colour/physique and then hope and pray their child does not turn out a ginger blob :)

I think I'd take the apply for another card option, or if I were feeling sensible see if I could get some extra work of whatever kind (cash in hand nudge nudge sort of thing). If I managed either of these things I think I'd gamble the £30 on something. If I lost I'd be in basically the same situation, if I won it could greatly ease the situation.
(I'm not a gambler btw, the closest I get is brief spells of online poker, I win too, but I get bored of winning small, start taking bigger risks, and when I begin to lose I always stop for a few months.)
