VERY!!!!!

Beautiful day. Leathers on. Just having discussion with OH about where to go today. Then it was noticed...a big nail in my back tyre!!! GUTTED!:smt022

So, I'm eating an easter egg while John is out enjoying the sunshine.

Is it too early to open a bottle of wine?

Resoundingly NO. Sun is well over the yardarm AND it's a special occasion.

Oh fart!

:grouphug:

Let's hope you get it sorted sharpish whilst the weather's better.

I ran to the dealers today for a battery for Quedos' 250, went to the filling station for fuel for her SV and finally gave my downpipe a rough clean up which turned into hosing the whole bike down. Fingers crossed it'll get done properly (NOT Kwak clean mind) before next Sunday.

Well, I am now drinking my lovely wine. I just opened the bottle 15 mins ago - which I feel, considering the circumstances of today, is remarkably restrained of me!

I spoke to West Coast Suzuki earlier today. Said that they would be able to arrange for the bike to be picked up. She needs a service anyway, so will kill 2 birds with one stone. Hoepfully she'll be all fixed in time for easter egg run. I would be really hacked off if she wasn't ready for that. Unfortunately, don't see her being ready for IAM in time... Bah!

Probably for the best. I'm in the middle of writing a 20,000 word dissertation. And I really need to get lots of those words done during my easter break. If the weather is going to be good, it really would be too tempting to go out instead of working....

Now you see, what you could have done is.........

Get the tyre off get in the cage, go get the tyre changed, go home put new tyre back on.

Open wine, pour, get minging, then tomorrow could be another great day ;)

You know me BB........ I could hardly tell you it's too early to have a wee drink.

Wish I hadn't got out of it last night, head was way too sore to get on the bike today.

Role on Sunday am!! :p

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Cheers

See to be honest Cammy, neither of us had a clue as to how to get the *******ing thing off! Think we need to go on bike maintenance 101!

So, thats me until its fixed. Unless of course you want to come over to mine on your bike before your work, leave bike here and I'll take you up to your work!!! I would be very gentle with her - honest:smt036

Sorry BB, my pony is a one rider deal :p

Some things I don't mind sharing, but my wee 650 isn't on that list.

Speaking of bike maintenance 101, what happened to that thread about

night school courses?

Did anything ever come out of that?

Cheers
