Evening,
I've got a set of Racetech springs and emulators cheapy cheap but they're the 1.0kg springs. Doesnt matter I hope as Im about 15/16 stone but what weight oil would you pair with this?
Cheers

I would have said .9's would have been more suitable, either way your looking at 20wt and 3+ turns on the valve

Is that standard then, to use 20wt oil?

The weight of the oil determines the rebound damping, which is also effected by the weight of the spring.
The yanks go mad on oil thickness and do up to 50wt!! but above 25 they're not very consistant as the temperature rises and as we have a fairly unstable climate you'd be changing the oil with the weather!

Robw#70 knows his stuff!
As reference, I have 80 springs, use 15w oil and 2.5 turns and really like it. So extrapolating for the 1kg springs, I would concur with what Robw#70 says, 3odd turns and 20w should see-you-right! :)
