2003 Suzuki SV650S (HX03 ***) Silver.

13,089 Miles

General:
Good cosmetic and mechanical Condition. Runs without any problems. There is some pitting on the forks and engine casings and the odd small stone chip. Still good condition for the mileage. I have done mostly motorway miles on the bike (Bristol – Gloucester and back) for the last 6000 miles or so. So the engine has had it easy. I normally get 140 miles from filling up to the fuel light coming on (about £10 - £11 of petrol). The bike is currently running on Avon Azaro AV45/46 tyres. The rear is quite low and will need replacing soon. This bike has been looked after, see the pictures to see how clean it is (that downpipe doesn’t stay clean for long!!).

Full service History:

645 miles - 26/07/03 – Rob willsher motorcycles
4,080 miles – 11/06/04 - Rob willsher motorcycles
6,182 miles – 24/06/05 – Artdeans
7,718 miles - 08/05/06 – JHS Racing
12,130 miles – 14/09/06 – Serviced by myself: Oil &Filter and coolant topped up.

I also cleaned up the front brake callipers so they move freely.
Comes with and assortment of receipts to back this up.
Owners manual is present

**abba stand bolts available at extra charge….Abba stand itself may be available for purchase at extra, but will have to clear with my brother who owns it.**

Hey,

I would buy it without hesitation but i live in Ireland and to get insured i need a Factory Restricted version, its not is it???? [-o<

I definitely want to get your exact model as my next bike but if its not factory restricted my insurance would cost me several thousand euro, lousy innit!

im afraid it isnt restricted.

however, the ECU power restrictors can i believe be bought from any suzuki dealer. not sure on price though.

Yes but from what i know of the insurance companies here, they will only accept original factory restricted models

They must check some code from the bike so if this was on the ECU and i had a factory restricted ECU to install, then everything would be perfect, i will look into this but i wont be surprised if the insurance companies screw me over in another way,

thanks!

Hi Paul,

In the pictures is the steering yoke scratched or is that black colour a protective sticker? Any other scratches or dings, rust etc apart from what's mentioned? I'm based in Bristol and i'm quite interested. Providing i pass my test on monday! Please let me pass!

Cheers

Andy

its just where the paint has been worn away by the keys i have. its a very common problem....its rare that people keep their motorbike key seperate form the others they have...so the yoke gets scratched. Doesnt affect performance...plus i doubt you will find many 2nd hand without it.

cant think of any significant marks, the odd small one here and there, nothing above normal. even the fork pitting is less than normal imo....see the pic...

good luck with your test let me know if you wanna view it. i live i saltford. Advance notice would be appreciated as i am busy with uni stuff atm.

should have no problems viewing it provided it hasnt sold. The MOT however, i cannot do as it isnt insured so cant get it to the garage.

as for the track bike suggestion...sounds good to me....you give me your track bike and £2500, and you can have my bike :p (i need the money)

Hi paul,

I would buy the bike however, without an mot even if it does sell is difficult for a buyer. I would only make a trip if i was 90% confident of getting a vehicle.

When you get an mot pm me, and then i would like to arrange a viewing.

Regards

Mr A Singh-Thomas

cannot get a new mot as i have no tax or insurance to get it to the station, no doubts it would fly through though

bumping it up....goes on ebay next week
