in response to Snapcase

the subframe is the back part, which hold the seat, tail fairings etc. the black frame.

what your looking for is the headlight support unit, also called the front sub frame, i also have this for sale. this item is hard to find and usually sells for $50 US. or 80 NLG or 27 GBP.

as far as the side fairings, as you know the fairing on the Sv is made up of 3 parts, i have all 3 for sale.

i have them listed for $25 US but its an auction, so the price will go up, especially because there in perfect condition. i would end them both early for $55 US each.

let me know if your interested and i would ship to all of Europe.

thanks

What's the price of sending all three items? (front sub frame and both side fairings and NOT the middle one)
I'm willing to make an all inclusive deal.

Under the condition that I have to pay to the post officer at delivery (if possible). I don't want to be pulled of (no offense, but you're on the other side of the world lol)

I assume there is no difference between the EU model '99 SV 650 S and the US version?

no there istnt any difference between the two models, just very slight electrical differences which wont matter. check your suzuki dealer for paint scheme match, im 99% sure its the same but dont hold me to it. mine is a 2002 SV650 S BLUE, i think the paint is YK2.

i know your concerns about the security, but i cant obviously allow the post man to take the money. im with the Toronto Police Department, if you want to go ahead ill give you my id number and you can check me if i run off.

as far as pricing, just for the three items,

id say both fairing panels- $55 each,
fairing support- $50

postage is from Toronto,Canada M6G 2A2. it would be at cost, i dont charge handling fees. i tried to look at the ups site but it wouldnt work, it would be fairily light so shoudlnt be too much .

You're probably sleeping now :)

With front subframe / fairing support we both mean:
http://www.svspares.com/images/items/itm_300_11378519391_m.jpg right?

The color is not my concern, have to get it painted either way.

Let's round it of at $150,- excl. posting costs which will be paid by me.
Is that a deal?

Then the only thing (maybe we'd better communicate by e-mail or PM by now) is to exchange our address and accountnumbers. Ok?

edit: As far as I can see a package from Holland to Canada with a weight of 2kg will cost approximetly 85 euro with UPS. That is a lot of money!
When I go look at my national post provider the costs are about 30 euro tops. And delivered within a week.
Doesn't Canada have another package sender then UPS?

okay, you have a deal, yes that is what i mean by the fairing support. it is alreay powdercoated by suzuki so no need to repaint. powdercoat is a lot stronger then paint, it also comes with all the bolts

your right ups is evil and so expensive, we have canada post over here which is the governments one, today ill go to the post office and see the price and get back to you.

Looking forward to hear from you so I can go to the bank and transfer the money!

hi, just went to the post office, bad news, the package is 2 kg, they want a ridiculous amout, i found a box which fits the frame perfectly.
they only have 6 day shipping, = CAN$140 or NLG 200

or 5 weeks, CAN$60 = NLG 85. it would probabely be cheaper for you to buy from someone closer to you.

as far as painting the fairings, i wouldnt, wait for a yellow fairing to go on ebay.. suzuki use 3 stage paint which is very expensive to copy and not guaranteed to match your paint.

let me know if your still interested,

5 weeks!! That's a very long time. But it saves me 50 euro (yes, we've got euro's here now ;))

For me the total will be €136,- or €188,-. And that is a lot cheaper then to get it original or get a damaged frame or fairings. I'm assuming all three items can go in one package.. so I don't have to pay three times the posting costs.

EDIT:
I'll buy all three items and I want you to ship them in the fast way (6 days) so it will be an amount of $290,- (€188.52 at the moment). I will transfer that money over to you tonight or tomorrow morning (after your confirmation, your bank account number with land code and name / address / tel. number).
It's best if you send me an e-mail or a private message with this information. I'll reply with my address.
Ok?

Verbal agreement..?

Geoff-bit of advice mate-if you post on a public forum that you've agreed a deal with someone then back out when you see the chance of getting more money else where it doesn't do much for your credibility-think most people will agree that you made a deal with snapcase and agreed on a price-bad form if you back out and let the guy down now-you were happy with the deal he offered you so do the right thing and stick to it-maybe just me but your out of order pal.

im sorry, i know we had a deal, i just misinterpreted the real value of this bodywork,

as i said before if you have a yellow bike, buy a yellow fairing, i always see them for sale, if you really want to paint a bought piece of bodywork, theres no need to buy my one which is perfect condition, if your repainting it, any imperfections dont matter, buy one with road rash, as it'll half the value.

because i feel bad for messing you around i found these items, which are perfect for you,

ebay.com --- 320099434308 - it shouldnt go for more then $80 as its a x3 relist. and then you can sell the nose cone for $40.

If I wanted to spend my valuable time into repairing damaged fairings I might as well repair my own broken ones..:-?

Really nice doing business with you man..hope not everybody on this forum has the same kind of mentality otherwise I'm really waisting my time searching here.

I don't want to be bitching but the highest bid on ebay for your fairings is $25 :confused: I'll pay you $55, so what's the damn problem?! And it's not your concern if I want to buy a blue or yellow fairing for my yellow bike. Made a bid of $30,- now.

btw: thanks husky for backing me up..and your PM
