Quick question, just bought some aftermarket indicators and a pair of Motrax Indy Leads for the SV. I've definitely got the Suzuki specific leads, but the connector on the SV is grey and the Indy Leads connector is black and they don't fit  . Are there different Indy Leads I should have bought or any other ideas?

The pack of 2, which doesn't say front or back on the packet? Will the 4 pack have 2 of each?

should have? the backs are like a square fitting and the fronts are round.

I'm trying to fit them to the front and the grey connectors on the bike are sort of round on the inside. Is this the same for all Suzukis? If so, i'll get a pack of 4 and see if there are 2 different types of leads included.

There are 2 suzuki model leads I think. The ones I got were for the curvy.

I got a pack of 4 and they were all identical. Fitted fine to my curvey, but the retaining clip needed to be lifted manually, the indy leads to not just snap into place.

EDIT: I say they are identical, I did not check. I might have got lucky and fitted them in the correct order by accident! They looked identical as I recall.

I just recently fitted Motrax Diamonds to the rear of my pointy.

One side the connector is grey, the other it's black (IIRC). The indicators didn't come with any connector.

So my solution, was to remove old indicators, chop off the stock connector, solder & heatshrink on to the new indicators, then plug in. Job jobbed.

Funnily enough, I looked at the front leads for my SK5 the other day and looked at the "Suzuki" leads in a few dealers. The leads on sale have a practically square plug on them, whilst the bikes loom and original indicators have more round ones with a "y" shaped inside that can take three pins. Only two are fitted though.

Referring back to Motrax, these look very like the ones being sold for Yamaha fitment.

Anyone else found the same? I could easily chop, solder and heat shrink..... but I'm not going to.

Same as the curvey same connectors just different colours for some reason.
On the 1st set of indies i fitted i did the chop, solder and haetshrink, i just use indie leads now cos i'm lazy ;)

Like you - I'm lazy (well only in this instance) and more importantly, stand a good chance of wanting to put it all back to normal without double the work. I'd also benefit from the extra length of cable without making even more work & joints.
