If you've only ever had OE MEZ4's fitted to your SV, I hope this will be of use to you. I just fitted a new set of MEZ6 tyres, replacing the MEZ4's that where originaly on the bike.
So here's what I notice on my first ride:
1) the bike drops into corners now. Have to watch that one, or I might actualy drop the bike  With the Z4's, I felt like i was fighting the bike over. It didnt help that the rear was squared off!
2) the confidence is amazing. I couldnt beleive that a differant set of tyres could do this, but with the Z6's I feel like I can lean and lean and lean and lean till the cows come home. Lots more feedback from the front end too. The Z4's felt vauge and didnt encourage me like these Z6's do. I always thought that a differance in tyres would only be felt by experianced riders and racers!
I havn't ridden in the rain yet, but I do know that the Z4's would slide at any chance - even my pathetic riding gave me slides, which made me feel like a hero, but ultimatly was not good for my confidence. I'm hoping that the characteristcs of the Z6's in the dry will carry over to wet weather conditions! The tread pattern looks alot better for displacing water anyway
