It looks like (and i am sure someone will correct me here but you only learn by making mistakes) that Laws SV is making just under 70bhp at 8900 rpm (boucing off the limiter??) and he will be pulling 44 ft/lb at just over 7000rpm.
So (if i understand correctly) He is getting most of his acceleration (pulling power torque) up to 7000 rpm and then change gear. But the bike will make 70bhp when reving at its peak (but still making just under 42ft/lb) And each line is where they tune the bike to perform better with the kit on it. ie play with the SV digital brain to make the processor use all the new data from more air in and exhausts
is that about right?
Looks good for a pointy ;)
How do you rate the headlights?
A lot better than standard, slightly better than cheaper Bluevisions. I'll save my money next time.

She won't have a name, decided against Black Beauty after all the ribbing I got. Thanks for making me come to my senses. ;)

Blue and green line are the final dyno runs. Red was the 1st.
It now makes 2 hp more but more importantly the bottom AFR graph shows it is not running rich any more.Plus what Duck man said

pretty much. But the limiter kicks in at about 12000 so its not visible. Peak power just occurs at 8900rpm then it trails off. It looks like each run had all the mods on, but just with different remaps.

Looks great Law, the curve at the top is very flat, very good graph for an SV imo.

Bike looks great, love the exhaust.
I'm looking to get the Fabbri DB dark screen Law. Where did you get yours from? Good service?

Suzuki dealer, Steve Jordans. Yes they're good, I like the service enough to be a regular customer.

I ordered mine last year from www.thevisorshop.com , but I think they switched from Fabbri to Airblade shortly after.

Maybe try www.visorshop.com then. I've never tried that one myself though, so I can't vouch for the service.

PM SV650Racer, or call Steve Jordans and ask if they can send one. I got some things sent up to Peterborough ages ago, paint stick and something else (OEM DB screen??).

Thanks for all the info and sorry to hijack your thread Law. I've emailed visorshop as they seem a fair price but don't state who makes them.
They've just mailed back as I'm writing actually, home brand:
"Our screens are made especially for us to our spec so they are own brand"
Worth a go for £40? Or should I try to find a Fabbri?

It means steve managed to do one dyno run to get the initial graph then took 10 mins adjusting everything and then 2 final runs just to prove he really is that good at setting SV's up:thumbsup:
It appears his claim of being able to set SV's up blindfolded could well be true:smt043 :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 :smt043

dunno about that but even though he is my hubby he is spot on at what he does!. Just run my race SV up again!!...going to post the chart up next week..worth a giggle!.
Mine versus stock versus another to the same spec done elsewhere!!!....it has a massive 18bhp difference over stock at one point in the graph and an average of 12bhp more!:smt111
BTW we do mail order on all stuff with 10% discount to SV owners. Just cause i likes people that ride SV's!!

About time you got rid of the stickers?
Only kidding, that's lovely.

Ooooo - what about about ex-SV owners? I still have a rear fender and bar end bolt, if that counts....

I used Plasticote Satin paint and enamel, though judging by a close look at my effort I should have got it professionally done.

Just a heads up for anyone that saw the above post and considered ordering a DB screen from visorshop.com, DON'T.
What they sent through is barely steeper than a standard screen and is actually lower. There is no 'bubble' on it at all either. How on earth they can call it a double bubble I have no idea. I even emailed to check they hadn't sent out the wrong type.
Back it goes, costing me postage :(
Should have just emailed SV650Racer first of all, will do that now.

Too true. You'll want a top-box like me next to introduce some practicality to biking
Or maybe not..

Anyone noticed I haven't taken any pics of the exhaust close up.
It's because it still has it's baffle in.
Hey you can see my reflection!
And a bit of dirt on the swingarm near the callipers.
Chicken strips worn down a bit after some roundabout laps.

Just a quick question I have the same exhaust and wondered if your know if the baffle will come out seen as it has a screw, I have tried pulling mine out with no success

I haven't removed mine but the baffle looks to be held in by a spot welded allen head screw thingy. You'll need to break the weld first with a drift or another tool before using an allen key.
Is the bolt an anti-tamper torx one by chance? If so, you can get the bits to deal with those from your local machine mart.
for sale?;)
No!! It's the wrong colour and shape for you. :smt064
I've still got at least another year or two of fun on her.
You should have bought that red K6. :p
