Great thing is that you could actually get the reg number from that pic and make a formal complaint. If you were that sort of person :smt045

Only if he is on a call i think, if hees not and runs a red light then its possable that the driver will get points.

Im not 100% certian but thats what i was told.

Years ago my mate and I were in his Capri (yes, that long ago...) when PC Plod decided to have a chat with us. We were both asked to get out of the car, and while they're asking us the usual questions there the sound of breaking glass.

The two cars have come together and the headlamp on the Panda (Escort) has been broken by the rear of the Capri.

"I think we'd better check your handbrake, sonny" says one.

I then point out that we're facing down hill, and they're behind us :D

PC Plonker hasn't put his handbrake on.... We took the drivers details, and my mate asked "You are insured, aren't you ?"

I think it was time to go at that point....

I mean, maybe the bin wagon was blocking the other end of the street?

I reckon that Gold type colour, Capri was the only car I can think of that didn't look bad in gold. (In their day, they looked good no matter what the colour  )

With all the access problems geting in/out of Rugby as a result of the bridge work on Newbold Road. I would have thought all traffic restrictions in the town would have been lifted. It only took me 30 minutes to do the 1/4 mile from Tesco to under the bridge today

I don't think intelligence is a prerequisite for being a police officer.

Someone managed to fail the initial recruitment tests AND training and still got in by the looks of things.

Obviously the police car is facing the right way and everyone else is wrong. Duh!

Yeah, it's a nightmare Tim. Whereabouts in Rugby are you working, I might be able to suggest a residents knowledge shortcut avoiding the bridge.

You're right, Ed, it was bin day................but they come around 8.30am..............the pic was taken at 2.30pm. I know bin men can be slow, but even the ones here in Rugby aren't THAT bad:D

I've done that before, and parked up facing the wrong way down a one way road (it was easier than turning around to drive up it - baring in mind I was driving a long wheelbase Merc Sprinter at the time).

I still got a ticket. :(

Question is : -

Do you want the old bill to drive round the block and and enter the road in the correct fashion and take a extra couple of mins while your Mrs is getting a shoeing from billy burglar or would you like them there asap???
