I am also told they have sent out 20,000 invites. The carparks will be closed as the entertainment will be using them. I am also advised to take a lock as the only parking will be on the industrial estate.

Might potter down there. Guess this is the "official" opening(?) as I went down there about a fortnight ago and they seemed pretty open. Very big and sparkly, lots of bikes to sit on (though the second hand ones are crammed in so tight you can't actually get round them). It was the ex Dixons/McDonalds staff working there that would put me off actually buying anything but clothing from them tho :)

Depends on how fit you are and how far you can throw them... :D

Majority of clothing in the new shop is Frank Thomas where as the old place had a better selection, also they seem to favour AGV in the helmet dept.

I went there to the R1 launch a few months back. And the opening night, so if there having another relaunch i thnik they might be struggling for custom.
One thing they could do is drop their servcie rates, more than double that of Artdeans 5 minutes up the road.

I went to Fowlers the other week, they havent got anywhere near the range of clothing that they used to have and its also its all the lower price range stuff now as well. I was a bit disappointed TBH.

I was thinking of going, but MotoGP is on this weekend so It'll depend how I feel.

Sounds like its changed a bit then. To be honest I haven't been down to the main shop for nearly a year now, might have a browse if the next time I do a parts run.

Thought I'd post this up...

Popped in on Saturday for a quick look round and pick up some garage supplies. Had a chat with a guy who liked my bike so much he was videoing it! (I kid you not).

They were handing out free gifts in the car park, unfortunately it was a nail.

Went in through the tread and out the side wall. Not a happy bunny. Got it replaced today along with my underwear as riding a bike with no air in the rear tyre and knowing about it is not fun.

Alas on Sunday I returned with Stretchie and Sister Stretchie for better look round. I've got to say I was impressed with the little warehouse they've got, row after row of Gixer. Was tempted to pop back with a jack and a socket set and get myself a front end for the SV as I'm sure no one would have noticed ;)

Crap news about the tyre SH. I've gotta get a new rear tyre meself n all sometime this week or next. 2.5K and its shot, at least the edges tread is stuffed as well as the middle :smt077

I was at GW on Saturday with Triumphumphumph who was looking at the Blade and the Gixers, the place was packed. I didn't spot anyone else from here though.

Thought I spotted the bread mobile though parked up mind but no sign of the owning loaf ;)

Was a pretty good day, from GW to Cirencester then on to Bibury - Tetbury - A46 towards Bath and a short play with another gixer thou, after passing that back home on the A420 and the Ford esses. I don't recall any cages keeping up :D

this mob seem clueless in my brief experience.

i've phoned them 3 times since friday enquiring about a bike, each time i've been told i'll get a call back shortly. nothing. the woman cant even tell me if the bike is still for sale....

useless.
