Trundling up the M40 to work this morning, I noticed the steering seemed a bit odd. (I have to confess that I was in the car, not on the bike). I was having to steer slightly to the right to stay in a straight line, so decided things weren't quite right, and it might be a good time to slow down a bit and perhaps pull over. Managed to get from 90 in the outside lane to about 70 in the middle lane, and then the front nearside let go with a bit of a pop. Managed to keep things under control and rolled to a halt on the hard shoulder, with a well shredded tyre. I'll post a few pics later.

I would like to thank Mr Benz for the indestructable quality and solidness of the car,
and likewise to Mr Marks & Spencer for displaying the same qualities when it comes to underwear.

I might have to take up smoking if this becomes a regular occurance :smt025

Adds a bit of excitment to the day, perhaps it's a new feature fitted that monitors if you're paying attention and does something to wake you up ;)

(Caveat, My former Taxi service was nothing but exemplary  )
