do i need to tell my car insurance about my bike accident?

technically yes. I always ask if they need to hear and I've had one insurance company say no and all the others say yes.

The answer is yes you do have to declare it,and they are getting increasingly better at finding out when you fail to do so.They share information on all of us on massive databases these days so not telling them is probably a bad idea.Big Brother knows most things and what he does'nt know he soon finds out.

I would tell them mate, last thing you want to do is give them a reason to get out of not paying. Doubt it will make much difference to your insurance.
