Meeting Stu at Honda Farnham for 10. Me, Falc and Leshkin will be travelling down, you'll hear us coming.:-D
I'm not doing a review of the CBR-RR just a few points.
Loved it
Went to pirbright, but that was realy lame stuck in traffic at 30. Bike copper behind me (it was a Bikesafe rideout test ride, 8 Hondas & Police front & back). But it was really the 2 fireblades in front of me holding me up. :p Until I overtook them & then could slow down for the straights and speed up through the bends. Bike was lovely, nice size, lovely through the bends and the front end is just lighter than air in 2nd gear :D Mirrors felt so good adjusting them but were very blurred at speed (not good trying to get out of sight of a bike cop)
No gear indicator or slipper clutch IMHO, which I would have liked and I believe are on the Gixxers.
Anyway was just a bit of fun & don't expect to be changing anytime soon.
Sounds good Stu - would have loved to stay and take a ride on one too. Well i'm sure I will one weekend over the summer.
Did you win anything? (or me or Dan ;) )

Cool,
The Honda doesn't have a slipper clutch cos it uses fancy ECU technology to control RPM which cuts out back wheel chatter. You are correct about gear indicators, Honda has a fuel gauge instead.
Now the important question, when you trade up, Gixxer or RR? You want one really. ;)

Was a bit lamed out when copper told me I could not even follow the group. Public roads, no???!
Anyway, sounds like you had fun. I probably would have torn past pulling a stonking wheelie and then crashed anyway.

Still waiting by the phone  When I got back the other Gridgirl asked if I wanted to enter - stupidly said I already had instead of doubling my chances:rolleyes:
I signed up for Ultimate ear plugs though. And tried balancing the Gas Gas - was utterly crap at it.
